1. Company and Service
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the Rankzon real-time Google SERP API and any related products, services, websites, dashboards and documentation (collectively, the "Service") provided by WK Operations Ltd ("WK Operations", "we", "us", or "our").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.
2. Eligibility and Account Registration
To use the Service, you must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms and that "you" and "your" will refer to that organization.
You may be required to create an account and obtain API credentials (such as an API key) to access the Service. You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate and complete registration information.
- Maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials and API keys.
- All activities that occur under your account or using your API keys.
You must notify us promptly if you suspect any unauthorized access or use of your account or API keys.
3. License and Acceptable Use
Subject to your compliance with these Terms and any applicable plan limits, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to access and use the Service solely for your internal business purposes.
You must not, and must not allow any third party to:
- Use the Service in any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent way.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or related systems or networks.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to derive source code or underlying algorithms, except to the extent permitted by law.
- Use the Service to build or train a competing product or service that is substantially similar to the Service.
- Resell, lease, or provide the Service to third parties on a standalone basis without our prior written consent.
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with all applicable laws and regulations, including any applicable terms of third-party services such as Google.
4. API Usage, Rate Limits and Fair Use
Your access to the Service may be subject to usage limits, including but not limited to the number of API calls, concurrency limits, and rate limits associated with your selected plan.
You agree to:
- Use the API in accordance with the technical documentation we provide.
- Implement reasonable error handling, backoff, and retry logic to avoid abusive or excessive requests.
- Respect any rate limits or quotas communicated in your dashboard, documentation, or plan description.
We reserve the right to temporarily or permanently throttle, suspend, or terminate access to the Service if we detect abusive, excessive, or suspicious usage, or if your usage threatens the stability or security of the Service.
5. Pricing, Billing and Credits
Fees for the Service are described in your selected plan or on our pricing page. Unless otherwise stated, all prices are quoted in euros (EUR) and exclude any applicable taxes, duties, or charges, which you are responsible for paying.
You authorize us (and our payment processors) to charge you for all fees incurred under your account. Depending on your plan, you may pre-purchase usage credits, subscribe to a recurring plan, or be billed based on actual usage.
Unless otherwise specified:
- Fees are refundable only under the Refund Policy described below or where required by applicable law.
- Unused credits may expire after the period specified in your plan or documentation.
- We may change pricing or plan features with reasonable prior notice; continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance.
Refund Policy
We offer a full refund for Rankzon API credits when all of the following conditions are met:
- A refund request is submitted within 14 calendar days from the date of the first payment for Rankzon API credits.
- Less than 20% of the provided Rankzon API credits have been used.
Refund eligibility is assessed per account and may require additional verification to prevent abuse.
6. Data, Content and Intellectual Property
As between you and us, we own all rights, title and interest in and to the Service, including all software, systems, documentation, design, and know-how, as well as any improvements, enhancements, or derivative works thereof.
Subject to applicable law and third-party rights, you may use the data returned by the Service ("Output Data") for your internal business purposes and in your products or services. You are solely responsible for how you store, use, display, license, or otherwise process Output Data, including compliance with any applicable third-party terms such as Google's terms of service and local data protection laws.
You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use your trademarks, name and logo solely to identify you as a customer of the Service (for example, on our website or marketing materials), unless you expressly opt out in writing.
7. Privacy and Data Protection
Our collection and use of personal data in connection with the Service is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. By using the Service, you acknowledge that your personal data will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
To the extent we act as a data controller or data processor under applicable data protection laws (including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)), we will process personal data in accordance with those laws and with our Privacy Policy.
8. Third-Party Services
The Service may rely on or interact with third-party services, such as cloud providers, payment processors, or search engines (including Google). We do not control and are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them may be subject to separate terms and policies.
You are solely responsible for complying with any third-party terms that apply to your use of the Service and Output Data, including, where relevant, Google's terms and conditions governing automated access to their services.
9. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, in whole or in part, immediately and without prior notice if:
- You breach these Terms or any applicable law.
- Your usage poses a risk to the security, integrity or availability of the Service.
- We are required to do so by law or by a competent authority.
You may terminate your use of the Service at any time by closing your account or ceasing to use the Service. Upon termination, your license to use the Service will automatically end, but the sections of these Terms which by their nature should survive will continue to apply (including, without limitation, payment obligations, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and governing law).
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory or otherwise, including but not limited to any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranties arising out of course of dealing or usage of trade.
Without limiting the foregoing, we do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from harmful components, or that Output Data will be accurate, complete, up-to-date, or suitable for your particular use case. You are solely responsible for evaluating the accuracy and usefulness of Output Data.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any warranty or liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event will WK Operations Ltd, its directors, officers, employees, contractors or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive or exemplary damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities, arising out of or in connection with the Service or these Terms, whether based on contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or any other legal theory, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will be limited to the total amount of fees paid by you to us for the Service during the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless WK Operations Ltd and its directors, officers, employees, contractors and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with: (a) your use of the Service or Output Data; (b) your breach of these Terms; or (c) your violation of any applicable law or any third-party rights.
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or the Service (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malta, without regard to its conflict of laws rules.
The courts of Malta shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service, subject to any mandatory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes to the Service, legal requirements, or business practices. When we do so, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide additional notice (such as via the dashboard or email).
Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service.
