A little salty, not fishy at all and creamy and mild. Perfection. Now I'm not sure if I've made a rod for my own back because who can afford a caviar habit?

Royal Oscietra Caviar (acipenser gueldenstadtii) is renowned for its excellent egg quality. The medium-sized grain of this caviar has a slightly nutty flavour.
