Terms of service

These terms govern the use of Rankzon (“the service”), provided by WK Operations Ltd (wkoperations.com) (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you use the service on behalf of a company or an agency, you confirm you may bind it to these terms.

1. The service

Rankzon checks where websites rank on Google for the keywords you add, in the country and language you choose, and shows positions up to 100, history, keyword data and reports you can share with your clients. Checks run once a day; we may add a catch-up run when a check fails. Positions come from Google result pages requested without personalisation and can differ from what an individual searcher sees. Keyword metrics such as search volume and difficulty are estimates from third-party data.

2. Accounts and teams

You need an account to use the service. Keep your password confidential and tell us at once if you suspect misuse. Projects belong to the team, not to the person who created them; owners and admins decide who can see and change them. You are responsible for everything done through your account and team.

3. Free use

A team may track up to 10 keywords without a payment card. Beyond that, a card is required. When a team without the service tracks more than its free allowance, daily checks for that team pause until a card is added; nothing is deleted.

4. Prices and billing

Prices are in US dollars and exclude VAT and other taxes, which are added where they apply. We bill per keyword per day: a keyword counts on each day we checked it. The rate is the keyword’s monthly rate divided by the number of days in that month. Monthly rates per keyword, applied in bands to the keywords checked on a day, are:

  • the first 10 keywords: free;
  • keywords 11 to 1,000: $0.09 per keyword per month.
  • keywords 1,001 to 2,500: $0.08 per keyword per month.
  • keywords beyond 2,500: $0.07 per keyword per month.

Adding a card costs nothing. On the 1st of each month we issue an invoice for the previous month, listing each day’s keywords and amount (or the monthly minimum when usage fell below it), and charge it to the card on file on the 5th. Each month has a minimum of $5 (Standard) or $100 (Premium), prorated to the days the service was active that month; when a month’s usage is below the minimum, the difference is added to the invoice. A month in which you stayed within the 10 free keywords costs nothing. Your balance for the current month is shown in the app as it accrues; amounts shown during the day are provisional until the nightly audit confirms them from the recorded checks. The current prices and bands are published on the pricing page; we may change them with at least 30 days’ notice, and changes apply from the next month.

5. Premium

Premium adds white-label reports and the other features listed on the pricing page, at the same per-keyword rates with a $100 monthly minimum. You can choose Premium at any time; going back to Standard takes effect on the 1st of the following month. When a Standard team’s usage reaches the Premium minimum, Premium features switch on automatically at no extra charge for as long as usage stays at that level.

6. Failed payments and cancellation

If an invoice cannot be charged, we retry and ask you to update your card. While an invoice remains unpaid we may pause checks and, after reasonable notice, close the account. You can cancel the service at any time in the billing settings: checks beyond the free allowance stop immediately, and the days used until then are invoiced on the next 5th. You can resume with the card on file. Invoices are final once issued; if you believe one is wrong, contact us within 30 days and we will correct any error.

7. Your content and reports

You keep all rights to the domains, keywords and branding you add. You grant us what is needed to run the service: storing them, checking rankings for them and rendering them in reports. Public report links are accessible to anyone who has the link; you control which projects a link includes and can disable or rotate a link at any time. Use only branding you are entitled to use.

8. Acceptable use

Do not use the service to break the law, to infringe others’ rights, to probe or disrupt the service, or to resell raw ranking data as a data feed. Automated access other than through features we provide is not allowed. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.

9. Availability and accuracy

We aim for daily checks and high availability but do not guarantee either: search engines change, third-party providers fail, and we may need maintenance windows. Rankings are observations of a moving target and are provided as is, without warranty of accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose.

10. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Changes and termination

We may update these terms; material changes are announced in the app or by email at least 30 days before they apply. Continued use after that date means you accept the new terms. You may delete your account at any time; we may terminate accounts that breach these terms. On termination, outstanding usage is invoiced as described above.
